Where builders work.
The UTD builder space is the physical home of Chapter 01. A dedicated lab where builders show up, find each other, and make things — things nobody assigned them, things that might actually matter.
This is not a classroom. There are no grades, no permission slips, no rubrics for what gets built. Just a room, the right people, and the infrastructure to go from idea to something real.
Location: 800 W Campbell Rd, Richardson, Texas.

Hours: open late.
OPEN WORKSPACE
Desk space for builders to work alongside each other. Show up, plug in, build something.
BUILD BENCH
Hardware, tools, and materials for prototyping. If you need to make something physical, this is where it happens.
EVENT SPACE
Where Kickoff Nights, critique sessions, and Demo Day happen. The room where the community becomes real.
Four Labs.
Every chapter runs all four. No exceptions. No substitutions.
Build Lab
Make things.
Weekend build sprints, prototyping sessions, and open workshop hours with the hardware bench and dev tools. Show up with an idea, leave with a v1.
Think Lab
Have an opinion.
Mentorship, research discussions, and 1:1 feedback sessions. Bring a half-formed argument and leave with a sharper one — preferably a controversial one.
Network Lab
Meet people.
Demo nights, founder dinners, and industry partnerships. The useful kind of networking — the kind where you actually stay in touch.
After Hours
Touch grass. 😂
Informal hangouts, game nights, and the community that makes the other three labs worth showing up for. Occasionally, we go outside.
